Access Energy, Inc., signs MOU with Fuhrlander

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Access Energy, Inc. with German company, Fuhrländer AG, to supply wind-energy turbine technology for Access Energy's 1,000 Megawatt wind power plant in Gharo, Pakistan. This agreement has been signed in cooperation with the Government of Pakistan's Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) as part of the initiative to increase the percentage of electricity coming from renewable sources.

Access Energy will develop a 1,000 MW wind-energy project along the wind corridor in Gharo, Pakistan in increments of 50 MW. Access Energy has agreed to finance the project while Fuhrländer will provide the turbines for the site. Along with providing the wind turbines, Fuhrländer has agreed to aid Access Energy in the installation of a wind turbine manufacturing facility and training facilities within Pakistan itself which will help create many new jobs, improve the market economy, and raise the standard of living.
